Dallas, GA – An EF-1 tornado touched down in Paulding County late Saturday evening, bringing maximum winds of up to 110 mph and leaving a damage path over 11 miles long.

According to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City, the tornado first made contact west of Sudie at approximately 11:41 p.m. EDT on March 15. It then traveled northeast, impacting areas including Dallas and New Hope, before lifting at around 11:53 p.m. EDT. Preliminary damage surveys indicate a path width of approximately 200 yards, but no injuries or fatalities have been reported.

The storm caused damage to homes and trees, with reports of fallen limbs and structural impacts in affected neighborhoods. Emergency responders and local officials are assessing the full extent of the damage and working to clear debris.
