According to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City, Atlanta is expected to reach a high of 82°F on Monday, April 14, marking one of the warmest days of the month so far. Wind gusts could reach 25 mph during the afternoon, especially in exposed areas and along highways like I-75 and I-285.
Though a Freeze Watch remains in effect for far northeast Georgia Monday night, most of the Atlanta metro will stay well above freezing, with lows near 59°F. The week ahead looks calm and dry, with no hazardous weather expected through Friday.
