Georgia Arrest Made in Indianapolis March Homicide Case

Indianapolis, IN – An 18-year-old suspect was arrested in Georgia in connection with a March homicide in Indianapolis.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Audrice Addison was apprehended on Wednesday in Jackson County, Georgia. Addison was initially arrested for unrelated charges before deputies discovered a murder warrant from Marion County.

IMPD North District officers had responded on March 26 to a shooting on Sherman Forest Lane, where 50-year-old Eric Parks was killed. On April 19, Addison was charged with murder and battery by means of a deadly weapon. The IMPD credits their collaboration with Georgia authorities for this arrest.
