Warner Robins, Georgia – A large-scale emergency simulation will bring a surge of police, fire, and EMS activity to Central Georgia Technical College this Saturday, with officials urging residents not to be alarmed.

According to the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, the full-day training exercise will run from 8 a.m. through 4 p.m. at the college’s Warner Robins campus on Cohen Walker Drive. The drill will simulate a major incident response, involving multiple public safety agencies working together in real-time conditions.

Residents and drivers in the area should expect increased emergency vehicle traffic, sirens, and visible first responder activity throughout the day. Officials emphasize this is a planned training event designed to prepare crews for real emergencies.

The exercise will mimic a mass casualty scenario, allowing law enforcement, firefighters, and EMS teams to coordinate response efforts under pressure. Authorities say these drills are essential to improving response times and ensuring agencies can operate seamlessly during actual crises.

Anyone near the campus Saturday is advised to remain aware of temporary traffic impacts and follow directions from personnel on scene. Additional updates could be issued if traffic conditions change during the exercise.
