The impact caused the Volkswagen to overturn multiple times before landing on a Toyota Corolla.
According to state police, the driver of the Toyota, an unidentified man, and his 31-year-old passenger from Georgetown, were both pronounced dead at the scene. Their names are being withheld pending family notification.
