Gaylord, MI – Rain showers will taper off across northern Michigan Sunday evening, setting up a mostly dry and partly sunny Monday, according to the National Weather Service in Gaylord.

Forecasters report that winds will subside overnight, with lows between 37 and 47 degrees. By Monday, skies are expected to remain mostly dry and partly sunny, though a light breeze may persist near the Manistee area. Highs will reach between 56 and 62 degrees across much of northern Michigan.

The next chance for rain arrives Monday night, as showers move in from the west. Lows are expected to dip into the low to mid-40s, with the potential for intermittent rain continuing into midweek.

The National Weather Service advises residents to take advantage of Monday’s calmer conditions before the return of unsettled weather late Monday and Tuesday.
