Gaylord, MI – An unsettled stretch of fall weather is setting up across northern Michigan this weekend, bringing rounds of rain, thunderstorms, and increasing winds through Sunday. According to the National Weather Service in Gaylord, shower coverage will decrease this afternoon, but return tonight with thunder and localized downpours west of Interstate 75.
By Saturday, showers and thunderstorms will shift east of I-75 with highs between 63°F and 70°F. Another round of rain is likely Saturday night, especially across central and eastern parts of the region.
Conditions will turn windy and rainy Sunday, with heavy rainfall possible near Saginaw Bay and gusty winds expected across much of northern Lower Michigan. Highs Sunday will range from the mid-50s to low 60s.
