PEOTONE, IL – Firefighters are battling a blaze that erupted in a residential garage near the Will County Fairgrounds.
The blaze started late Friday night sometime around 11 p.m. at 517 S Rathje Road.
Multiple fire departments, including Manhattan, Monee, New Lenox, Manteno, and Frankfort, swiftly responded to the scene. Efforts to control the inferno are ongoing, with authorities yet to determine the cause.
