Brownsburg, IN – Motorists in Brownsburg should prepare for significant traffic disruptions as lane closures and a full closure will impact State Road 267 in the coming weeks. Starting Monday, Sept. 30, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will implement lane restrictions for utility relocation work. The project will also involve the installation of a temporary signal.

According to INDOT, a full two-week closure of S.R. 267 will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 15, as crews begin replacing a culvert. The affected stretch runs from County Road 800 N to County Road 700 N, just north of I-74. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes or expect delays during this period.

Weather permitting, the work is expected to last until mid-November. The closures are part of a larger infrastructure improvement project aimed at ensuring long-term roadway safety and function. For more details and updates, visit the INDOT West Central page or access the project information online.
