Tulsa, OK – A frost advisory remains in effect for regions of northwest Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma, where temperatures are expected to reach as low as 32°F through 9 a.m. CDT on Thursday. The National Weather Service warns that frost formation could damage sensitive plants left outdoors.

Counties affected in Arkansas include Benton, Carroll, Crawford, Madison, Washington, Franklin, and Sebastian. In Oklahoma, Sequoyah, Haskell, Adair, Latimer, Le Flore, and Pushmataha counties are under the advisory. Residents are urged to cover tender vegetation or move plants indoors to protect them from the cold temperatures.

As cooler weather settles in, this advisory serves as a reminder to take precautions to safeguard plants against frost damage during early fall conditions.
