Grand Rapids, MI – A frost advisory remains in effect for Grand Rapids and surrounding areas until 9 a.m. this morning, with temperatures dipping as low as 33 degrees. Residents are urged to protect sensitive plants, as frost could form in the early morning hours.

Today’s forecast calls for sunny skies, with a high near 67 degrees and east winds at 6 mph, becoming light and variable this afternoon. Tonight, temperatures will drop to around 46 degrees, with mostly clear skies and calm winds, increasing from the south later in the evening.

Friday will bring mostly sunny conditions, with a high near 76 degrees and southwest winds between 7 to 15 mph, gusting as high as 24 mph. However, clouds will move in Friday night, bringing a slight chance of showers after 2 a.m., with a low near 46 degrees.

Showers are possible starting Saturday afternoon, with cooler temperatures persisting into Sunday and Columbus Day. Sunday is expected to be rainy, with a high of 58 degrees and an 80% chance of showers, extending into Sunday night.
