Pittsburgh, PA – A freeze warning is in place this morning for Coshocton and Muskingum counties in Ohio, as well as Forest and Jefferson counties in Pennsylvania. The National Weather Service forecasts temperatures as low as 31 degrees, which could harm crops, sensitive vegetation, and outdoor plumbing.

Residents are advised to take immediate steps to protect plants and uninsulated pipes. Bringing tender plants indoors or covering them can help prevent frost damage, while wrapping or draining outdoor plumbing can reduce the risk of freeze damage.

The warning remains in effect until 9 a.m. today. As the cold weather sets in, residents should monitor local forecasts and prepare for continued frost conditions.
