Chambersburg, PA – Shoppers in Franklin County are being warned after police discovered a credit card skimmer at a local grocery store earlier this month.
According to Pennsylvania State Police Troop H – Chambersburg Station, troopers responded to Glenwood Foods, located at 11440 Grindstone Hill Road in Antrim Township, on September 10, 2025. Investigators determined that two unidentified men allegedly installed the device the previous afternoon, September 9, around 2 p.m.
Authorities have released surveillance photos of the suspects in hopes the public can help identify them. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Chambersburg at 717-264-5161 or submit an anonymous tip to PSP Tips at 1-800-472-8477 or online at p3tips.com.
Police noted that all calls could be eligible for a cash reward if the information leads to an arrest, solves a case, or helps locate a wanted person.
Officials are urging customers who recently shopped at Glenwood Foods to monitor their financial accounts for suspicious activity. Credit card skimmers are designed to secretly capture card information when unsuspecting shoppers make purchases.
This case remains under investigation, and troopers are asking nearby residents to remain alert for suspicious behavior at gas pumps, ATMs, and other self-service payment devices.
