According to the Sheriff’s Office, a gray 2000 Chevy Blazer was traveling westbound on Agler Road when it struck an adult male in the roadway. The driver of the SUV was not injured and remained at the scene, authorities said.
Deputies, Gahanna Police, and EMS crews from the Columbus Division of Fire responded to the scene. The pedestrian was taken to Mount Carmel East Hospital in critical condition by CFD Medic 28 and was later pronounced deceased by medical staff at 6:08 a.m.
