Shreveport, La. – Residents across north Louisiana and the Four State Region can expect a steady stretch of seasonable conditions as warm afternoons pair with cooler early fall nights. Highs will climb into the low 90s Monday while overnight lows dip into the mid-60s.

According to the National Weather Service in Shreveport, dry weather will hold through at least the next 24 hours with light northerly winds keeping humidity levels manageable. The setup brings near-normal temperatures for late September, offering a break from the extremes often seen earlier in the summer.

Cities including Shreveport, Bossier City, Texarkana, and Monroe are expected to reach highs between 90 and 92 degrees Monday, with overnight lows settling near 65. The dry air and light winds should make for comfortable evenings, though residents are urged to stay hydrated and limit time outdoors during peak afternoon heat.

Travel and outdoor plans face no weather disruptions, and utility crews do not anticipate any significant heat-related strain. The next chance of rain remains limited, leaving conditions steady into the middle of the week.

A warming trend could develop late week, but for now, seasonable weather holds across the ArkLaTex.
