FORT WORTH, Texas – North Texas is heading into another stretch of late-summer warmth as clear skies and steady sunshine keep temperatures climbing into the low 90s through midweek. Light winds and dry air will continue to dominate, making for ideal outdoor conditions but extending a run of unusually warm October afternoons.

According to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth, Monday and Tuesday will bring highs near 91–92 degrees with mostly calm winds shifting slightly from the northeast by midweek. Nights will remain mild, with lows dipping only into the upper 60s, offering little relief from the daytime warmth.

Residents across Tarrant and surrounding counties can expect mostly sunny skies and excellent visibility for commutes and events, though the dry spell may increase pollen and dust levels. Energy use is expected to stay elevated as air conditioners run longer than typical for early October.

Temperatures may ease slightly by Friday, with highs near 86 as a weak northerly flow moves in, signaling a gradual transition toward cooler fall conditions. No rain is expected through the weekend, and extended models show continued dry weather into next week.
