Fort Worth, Texas – Isolated showers and highs in the 90s are on tap through Thursday across North Texas, with areas west of I-35 seeing the best chance for rainfall.

According to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth, a 20–40% chance of storms is expected through Thursday, especially in cities like Graham, Cisco, and Waco. While no severe weather is anticipated, brief downpours and lightning are possible with isolated storms, particularly in the afternoon and evening hours. Temperatures will remain slightly below normal, with highs ranging from the upper 80s to lower 90s.

On Wednesday, Graham could see a high of 90°F under stormy skies, while Killeen and Waco remain mostly dry but humid in the mid-90s. By Thursday, scattered storms will become more likely west of I-35, with Cisco cooling to 84°F and Killeen dipping to 90°F amid increased cloud cover.

South winds of 5 to 15 mph will provide some relief, but residents should monitor skies and avoid outdoor activities during any lightning activity. No watches or warnings are currently in effect.

Showers are expected to taper off by Friday, with seasonal July heat returning for the weekend.
