FORT WORTH, TX – North and Central Texas will start the weekend with pleasant and mild weather, though some areas may see patchy fog late Friday night into early Saturday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) Fort Worth.

Temperatures will be near or slightly above normal, with Saturday highs in the upper 50s to lower 70s—warmest across the southern counties. Fog is most likely to develop late tonight and early Saturday morning, particularly around Waco, DFW, and Killeen, before clearing out by midmorning.

Overnight lows will dip into the upper 30s to mid-40s, with visibility reductions possible in fog-prone areas. Forecasters say otherwise, “nice weather is expected” through the weekend, featuring mostly sunny skies and light winds.

No rain is forecast through Sunday, offering a quiet stretch of weather for outdoor plans and travel across North and Central Texas.
