Fort Worth, TX – The National Weather Service says another chilly day is expected across North and Central Texas today, with high temperatures in the 50s under mostly cloudy skies. Patchy fog is forecast to develop late tonight north of the I-20 corridor and continue into early Saturday morning.
According to the National Weather Service Fort Worth, overnight lows will dip into the mid-30s to low 40s. The weekend will stay mild and mostly dry, but a cold front arriving Sunday will bring another shot of cooler air through Monday. Highs early next week are expected to range from the upper 40s to near 60°F, with nighttime lows falling into the 20s and 30s.
After the front passes, a warming trend will take hold by midweek, pushing afternoon highs back into the upper 60s to low 70s. No rain is expected through at least Wednesday, keeping the region in a mild and dry pattern overall.
Drivers are urged to watch for patchy fog late tonight and early Saturday, especially north of I-20, where visibility could briefly drop to near a quarter mile.
