Fort Wayne, Ind. – Northern Indiana will dry out Sunday as lingering morning showers clear, opening the door for a stretch of sunshine and steadily warming temperatures through midweek. Highs will climb from the upper 60s today to near 80 degrees by Wednesday.

According to the National Weather Service in Northern Indiana, skies will remain mostly sunny starting Monday, with daytime highs in the low to mid-70s and overnight lows dipping into the upper 30s and low 40s. By Tuesday, warmer air builds in, sending highs into the upper 70s to near 80 with cool mornings in the 40s.

The cooler nights may bring a hint of early fall for areas around South Bend, Goshen, and Fort Wayne, but the sunny days will make for favorable travel and outdoor plans across the region. Local roads and airports are expected to see smooth operations as the weather stabilizes.

Residents are encouraged to keep jackets handy for the chilly mornings but prepare for warmer afternoons as the week progresses. Conditions remain dry through at least Wednesday, with no immediate rain chances returning.
