Fort Wayne, IN – Clouds will linger across northern Indiana through the afternoon before skies begin to clear overnight, bringing another chilly night for the region, according to the National Weather Service in Northern Indiana.

Forecasters say a passing sprinkle can’t be ruled out this afternoon, but conditions will quickly improve later in the evening as cloud cover decreases. Overnight lows will dip into the low to upper 30s, making for a cold start to Sunday morning.

Sunday is expected to bring mostly sunny skies and highs between 55°F and 62°F, offering a pleasant finish to the weekend after the frosty start. Winds will remain light, and dry weather is expected to continue into early next week.

Residents are advised to protect sensitive plants overnight as temperatures approach the freezing mark in some rural areas.
