Fort Wayne, Ind. – Sunshine and unseasonably warm afternoons will continue across northern Indiana, with temperatures holding in the 80s through Saturday. The region is set for several more days of dry weather before only a slim chance of showers arrives this weekend.
According to the National Weather Service in Northern Indiana, highs will reach between 80 and 87 degrees today under mostly sunny skies. Overnight lows are expected to dip into the mid- to upper-50s, offering mild relief. By Friday, cloud cover will increase as moisture slowly builds, but dry conditions are still expected for most of the day.
Saturday brings the best chance for a change in the pattern, though forecasters say rain remains unlikely. Only a 20% chance of isolated showers is in the outlook, meaning much of the day will still be dry with highs near the low-80s. Outdoor events and late-summer harvest activity should continue without major disruption.
Residents should still plan for warm afternoons and cooler nights. No significant weather hazards are anticipated, though clouds may thicken into Saturday evening before fading again early next week.
