According to the National Weather Service, there’s a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Friday in Allen County. Though not widespread, storms could be locally strong. Winds will remain light, but lightning and heavy bursts of rain are possible, especially during the evening commute.
Storm chances rise significantly into Saturday, with a 70% likelihood of widespread showers and storms after 8 a.m. Temperatures will reach a humid 86°F. New rainfall amounts could top a half inch in some areas. Event planners and anyone with outdoor activities should prepare for delays or rescheduling.
Storms will linger into Saturday night and return Sunday afternoon with another 30% chance. Sunday will still bring highs in the low 80s under partly sunny skies.
The pattern continues into early next week:
- Monday: 40% chance of storms after 8 a.m., highs near 83°F.
- Tuesday: 40% storm chance continues, with temps pushing 90°F.
- Wednesday: Slight risk (20%) of storms, otherwise hot with highs near 92°F.
