Fort Wayne, Ind. – Northern Indiana will see a calm stretch of weather after a small chance for evening showers and storms southeast of U.S. 24 tonight. Skies will clear overnight with temperatures dipping into the low to mid-60s.

According to the National Weather Service in Northern Indiana, Wednesday will bring mild conditions with highs in the upper 70s to near 81 degrees and lows falling into the upper 50s. The dry pattern will extend through Friday, offering a steady stretch of sunshine and light winds.

Cities including Fort Wayne, Warsaw, and Wabash can expect highs around 80 through midweek, while South Bend and Elkhart remain slightly cooler near the lake. Overnight lows will be comfortable, ranging from the mid-50s in rural areas to the mid-60s in urban centers.

Travelers along U.S. 30 and I-69 should not face weather-related hazards, and outdoor activities will be well-timed for the second half of the week. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the mild weather before hotter, more humid conditions return early next week.

Quiet conditions are expected to hold through Friday before the next system moves in over the weekend.
