Fort Wayne, IN – Mainly cloudy skies and areas of morning drizzle and fog will affect the region from early Thursday morning until clouds gradually lift later today, according to the National Weather Service Northern Indiana office. Conditions remain gray through the end of the week, with a chance of light rain arriving Friday afternoon until Friday night, especially for communities south of US 24.

According to the National Weather Service, highs today will reach 47 to 53 degrees across northern Indiana, with visibility reduced early due to fog. Drizzle remains possible through mid-morning before tapering off, though skies stay cloudy through much of the day.

Friday brings a renewed chance for precipitation as a weak disturbance approaches. Forecast highs of 50 to 55 degrees combine with overnight lows near 40 to 48 degrees, with the best rain chances targeting areas such as Wabash, Marion, Hartford City, and other locations south of US 24. Rainfall amounts are expected to remain light.

The weekend improves significantly. Saturday turns partly sunny, with highs between 45 and 50 degrees and overnight lows from 26 to 37 degrees. Sunday delivers the warmest readings of the period, with highs between 51 and 57 degrees under mostly sunny skies.

Monday remains seasonably mild with highs in the 51 to 55-degree range and lows of 30 to 37 degrees, though clouds may increase again late in the day.

Forecasters note temperatures will stay above normal through early next week, continuing a mild trend for late November.
