Fort Wayne, Ind. – Northern Indiana will enjoy a warm and quiet stretch of weather this weekend, with daytime highs climbing into the mid-80s and clear skies dominating the forecast.
According to the National Weather Service in Northern Indiana, patchy fog may develop toward daybreak Saturday, especially in low-lying and rural areas, but it will burn off quickly as sunshine returns. Temperatures will rise to around 80–85 degrees Saturday and hold steady in the low to mid-80s again Sunday.
The pleasant pattern means ideal conditions for outdoor plans across Allen, St. Joseph, and Elkhart counties, including fall festivals, football games, and early harvest activities. Drivers should remain cautious in the morning hours where fog lingers, particularly on stretches of I-69 and U.S. 30.
No rain is expected through the weekend, and the stretch of dry weather should last into early next week, offering farmers and outdoor workers several more days of cooperative conditions.
Warm days and cool nights remain the theme as September comes to a close, with the next chance of unsettled weather not arriving until later next week.
