Fort Wayne, IN – Northern Indiana residents can expect a damp midweek but brighter days ahead, according to the National Weather Service. Light showers are forecast tonight and into Thursday, but conditions will clear in time for a warm and sunny weekend.
According to the National Weather Service in Northern Indiana, isolated showers (20% chance) will persist through tonight and Thursday. Temperatures will stay mild with overnight lows in the mid-50s and daytime highs Thursday ranging from 69 to 76 degrees.
By Friday, the skies will turn mostly sunny, bringing highs between 75 and 79 degrees. That warming trend will continue into the weekend, with Saturday and Sunday expected to see plenty of sunshine and highs in the lower 80s. Overnight lows will generally stay in the 50s, providing comfortable fall evenings.
The dry and warmer pattern is forecast to extend into early next week, with Monday’s highs projected near 80 degrees under sunny skies.
