Fort Wayne, Indiana – Northern Indiana will enjoy a stretch of sunny, mild weather through the weekend, with daytime highs hovering in the upper 70s to low 80s and clear skies dominating the forecast.

According to the National Weather Service in Northern Indiana, high pressure will keep skies mostly sunny and winds calm through Monday. Fort Wayne is expected to reach 76°F today, rising to 80°F by Sunday and topping out near 84°F Tuesday before scattered thunderstorms develop after 2 p.m. that day.

Cities across Allen, DeKalb, and Huntington counties will see excellent weather for outdoor events, roadwork, and weekend travel. Winds will remain light out of the northeast at 5–10 mph, and overnight lows will dip into the mid-50s to low 60s—ideal for open-window sleeping. The first hint of unsettled weather comes Tuesday evening, when a slight (20%) chance of storms may impact commutes or evening plans, especially along US-24 and I-69 corridors.

No weather advisories are currently in effect, but residents should monitor conditions into midweek as pop-up storms may bring brief downpours or lightning.
