Fort Wayne, IN – Northern Indiana will see a mixed stretch of weather heading into the weekend, with a brief warm-up followed by a chance of showers and storms Saturday night, according to the US National Weather Service in Northern Indiana.
Temperatures will rise into the mid- to upper 70s Friday and could reach the low 80s Saturday ahead of a cold front. A weak warm front may bring light showers near Lake Michigan on Friday, but the stronger system arrives late Saturday, bringing the best chance for widespread rain and embedded thunderstorms overnight.
According to the National Weather Service, highs on Sunday will cool into the upper 50s to mid-60s as breezy northwest winds move in behind the front. Overnight lows will drop into the 40s by early Monday.
