Winston-Salem, NC – Forsyth County residents can get free health screenings and wellness resources this weekend during the Community Health Fair, set for Saturday, October 18th, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Iglesia de Cristo Church, 2010 Brewer Road in Winston-Salem.

According to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, the event is open to all ages and offers a range of services, including health checkups provided by the North Carolina Lions Foundation Mobile Screening Unit. Deputies and community volunteers will also be on-site to share safety information and community support resources.

Organizers say the annual event focuses on improving local health outcomes while building stronger connections between residents and law enforcement. Last year’s fair drew dozens of families, and this year’s turnout is expected to be even larger thanks to expanded partnerships and free on-site screenings.

The Sheriff’s Office encouraged families to stop by, noting the fair will also feature family activities, educational booths, and information on preventive care.

“This is about community, health, and helping one another,” officials shared. “We’re excited to make this year’s fair our best one yet.”
