Bradley, IL – A Mobile Food Pantry event will be available Friday morning for residents in need of food assistance in Bradley.

According to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet, the food distribution will take place Friday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, located at 211 N. Center Ave. Organizers strongly encourage attendees to arrive early, as the pantry will operate only while supplies last.

The Mobile Food Pantry, part of Catholic Charities’ outreach program, is a traveling resource designed to serve communities facing food insecurity. No registration is required, and all are welcome, regardless of religious affiliation.

This mobile pantry is part of a broader effort to combat hunger in Kankakee County and surrounding areas. With rising costs of groceries and inflation continuing to impact families, mobile food pantries like this one have become a critical source of relief.

Volunteers will be on-site to assist with food distribution and to help direct vehicle traffic. The event is open to both drive-up and walk-up guests.

Residents with questions or looking to volunteer at future events can visit the Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet, website or their official social media pages for more information.
