Miami, FL – Coastal areas in South Florida are under a Coastal Flood Advisory until 10 p.m. Sunday, with high tides expected to cause localized flooding. Residents near Miami Beach and other low-lying areas should avoid parking vehicles in flood-prone spots and monitor tide levels throughout the day.

According to the National Weather Service, today’s high temperature will reach 79°F with partly sunny skies. Winds from the east at 10 to 14 mph could push water further into coastal neighborhoods, increasing flood risks. Drivers on U.S. 1 and near Downtown Miami should watch for standing water during high tide periods.

Looking ahead, Monday will bring mostly sunny skies and highs near 80°F. By midweek, South Florida will see increasing chances of rain, with scattered thunderstorms expected on Wednesday afternoon. Rainfall could disrupt commutes, so plan for slower travel times during midweek peaks.

For those planning outdoor activities this week, expect calm conditions Tuesday with highs around 80°F before rain returns late Wednesday. By Thursday, a cold front will drop overnight lows into the 60s, bringing crisp mornings into the end of the week.

Residents should remain vigilant for coastal impacts today and ensure preparations are in place ahead of midweek storms. For updates on the Coastal Flood Advisory and weather changes, visit weather.gov/miami.
