Tallahassee, FL – A streak of unseasonably warm, dry spring weather is arriving across North Florida as high temperatures near 90°F return Monday. Residents of Leon County can expect clear skies and above-average warmth through much of the workweek.

According to the National Weather Service in Tallahassee, highs will climb into the low 80s on Monday, increasing to the mid to upper 80s by Tuesday and Wednesday. Sunshine will dominate the forecast, with calm southwest winds between 5 and 10 mph, making roadways like US-319 and Capital Circle ideal for smooth commuting.

Humidity will remain moderate, but dry conditions could raise pollen and dust levels. Individuals with allergies or respiratory conditions should limit outdoor exposure during peak daylight hours. Nighttime temperatures will hold in the 50s, offering mild relief from daytime warmth.

On Tuesday, mostly sunny skies will support highs in the mid-80s, with little cloud cover through midweek. Wednesday shows a minor cooldown, with highs in the mid-70s before rebounding again on Thursday and Friday to the upper 80s.

This stretch of dry spring weather is unusually consistent for the region, offering a rare window for outdoor work or recreation without storm risk. No rainfall is forecast through Saturday, giving residents a clear five-day window of stable conditions.
