Tampa, FL – The early morning breeze carries a faint touch of fall across Tampa Bay as clouds linger from a weak front sliding through Florida’s Gulf Coast. Pavement stays slightly damp in spots, but sunshine will return quickly as drier air pushes in from the north.

According to the National Weather Service in Ruskin, a few light showers may linger near I-275 and coastal Pinellas County before noon, with rain chances no higher than 20%. Winds from the northwest near 10 mph could gust to 20 mph at times. Temperatures rise to around 74°F, perfect for late-October outdoor plans as skies clear by afternoon.

Friday through Sunday will bring sunny skies and mild afternoons, with highs climbing from the mid-70s to low 80s by Sunday. Lows fall into the 50s and 60s—ideal for outdoor Halloween events, pumpkin patches, or evening walks along Bayshore Boulevard.

The start of November looks tranquil, with only slight rain chances early next week and continued near-perfect weather. While much of the country braces for a winter transition, Florida’s mild, dry pattern continues, with no frost or cold snap expected through mid-month.

Still, meteorologists note a subtle shift ahead. As cooler continental air builds across the Southeast, Tampa Bay could see a more pronounced dip in temperatures by mid-November, marking the state’s first taste of early winter chill.

For now, enjoy the sunshine and calm breeze—Florida’s golden stretch of fall weather is here to stay, at least for a while longer.
