Florida – Warm, humid air wraps around Miami this morning, with temperatures near 65 degrees and calm winds before sunrise. The breeze is light, but change is brewing offshore. Sunshine will quickly push highs into the mid-70s today, and a storm chance builds by late Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service in Miami, skies stay sunny today with highs near 75 degrees and east winds 6 to 10 mph. Tonight turns partly cloudy with lows around 70 and a steady southeast breeze. By Sunday, highs climb to 76 degrees under partly sunny skies, with gusts reaching 21 mph.

Shower chances increase Sunday night. A 40 percent chance of showers develops after 11 p.m., with a chance of thunderstorms after 4 a.m. Roads along I-95 and U.S. 1 could turn slick during heavier bursts. Keep wipers ready if traveling late.

President’s Day brings a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly during the day, with highs near 80 degrees. While rainfall won’t be constant, brief downpours may slow the midday commute. Conditions clear Monday night with lows near 66.

Tuesday and Wednesday trend drier and mostly sunny, with highs in the upper 70s. By late week, temperatures hold near the upper 70s to around 79 degrees. That’s slightly above February averages and signals early spring vibes across South Florida.
