According to the National Weather Service, storms are most likely after 2 p.m. Sunday, with continued chances into Monday night. Showers and thunderstorms may cause delays along I-275 and surrounding roadways during peak afternoon and evening travel hours.

Sunday’s high will near 86°F with increasing clouds and southerly winds up to 10 mph. After sunset, thunderstorm activity could continue until around 8 p.m., followed by lingering showers overnight. By Monday, a 20 percent chance of showers and storms persists after 2 p.m., with partly cloudy skies and highs again in the mid-80s. Monday night could see more thunderstorm activity, especially before 2 a.m., with calm winds shifting south-southwest.
