According to the National Weather Service (NWS), a high rip current risk remains in effect through Sunday evening along the coastal areas of Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties. Strong currents could sweep even experienced swimmers away from shore, making it crucial to stay near lifeguards and avoid swimming in unprotected waters.
Looking ahead, showers and thunderstorms are likely Monday, with some storms bringing heavy rainfall and localized flooding. Winds will range from 8 to 14 mph, with gusts up to 18 mph. Rain chances will remain elevated into Monday night before tapering off Tuesday.

• Monday: Thunderstorms likely, high near 75°F.
• Tuesday: Chance of showers, partly sunny, high near 75°F.
