TAMPA, Fla. – Florida’s stretch of fall heat refuses to quit as the Tampa Bay region braces for another warm, sunny weekend. After scattered Friday storms, drier air sweeps in Saturday, setting up prime weather for outdoor plans, from pumpkin patch visits to morning walks along Bayshore Boulevard.

According to the National Weather Service in Tampa Bay, Friday’s pop-up thunderstorms will taper by late afternoon, leaving partly sunny skies and highs near 85 degrees. Winds from the northeast at 10 to 15 mph will help push humidity down slightly by Saturday. Residents should remain alert for brief street flooding on low-lying roads, including I-275 and U.S. 92, during early rain bands before the clear-out.

By Sunday, skies turn completely clear, and fall events across Hillsborough and Pinellas counties can expect near-perfect weather. Temperatures will hover in the low to mid-80s through early next week, with gentle breezes and low rain chances. The dry pattern will favor those setting up Halloween decorations or exploring area parks like Lettuce Lake and Al Lopez Park.

Drivers should still stay cautious Friday morning as wet roads could linger from scattered showers. Keep an eye on shaded areas that stay slick longer. By Sunday, conditions improve dramatically, with cooler mornings and abundant sunshine—a classic Florida-style fall weekend.
