Tallahassee, FL – Two tornadoes touched down in Florida on April 7, 2025, causing minor damage but no injuries. The first tornado, an EF1, struck Southwest Leon County between 11:27 and 11:49 AM, with peak winds reaching 90 mph. The tornado had a path length of 12.22 miles and a maximum width of 300 yards. It crossed through areas near the Joe Budd Wildlife Management Area, affecting towns like Ochlockonee and Norfleet.

The second tornado, an EF0, impacted Early County between 6:46 and 6:56 AM, with winds peaking at 80 mph. The tornado traveled 7.4 miles and had a maximum width of 50 yards. It caused damage to trees and some minor structural damage to the Early County Elementary School before dissipating near Freeman Road.

Both tornadoes were classified based on preliminary damage surveys, and the National Weather Service advises that these ratings may be subject to change as further analysis is conducted. There were no reported injuries or fatalities linked to either tornado.
