Tampa, FL – A warm start to the week will give way to cooler weather as a cold front moves into the Tampa Bay area by Thursday morning. Temperatures will peak in the low-to-mid 80s through Tuesday, but expect highs to drop to the 60s by week’s end.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday will remain sunny with highs around 83°F in Tampa. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms is expected late Tuesday night, particularly along I-75 and surrounding areas. Residents should brace for a 50% chance of rain on Wednesday, accompanied by afternoon temperatures in the low 80s.

By Thursday, a noticeable drop in temperatures will occur, with highs struggling to reach 70°F and overnight lows dipping into the upper 40s. Wind gusts of up to 18 mph may accompany the cooler air, creating a brisk feel for outdoor activities.

This weather shift marks the start of a seasonal transition, offering some relief from the recent warm conditions. However, travelers along I-75 should exercise caution during the rainier parts of the week. Those commuting on Wednesday are advised to monitor road conditions for potential slick patches caused by rain.

The forecast through Friday suggests highs will linger in the upper 60s, with sunny skies providing a crisp end to the workweek. Residents are encouraged to prepare for cooler mornings by dressing in layers and staying informed about local conditions.
