Tallahassee, FL – Strong thunderstorms are expected to impact the Tallahassee area and the broader Florida Big Bend region today. According to the National Weather Service (NWS) Tallahassee, there is a Marginal Risk (Level 1 out of 5) of severe thunderstorms, which could bring isolated damaging wind gusts, dangerous lightning, and small hail.

The current forecast indicates temperatures will rise to a high of 93°F today, with a 50% chance of thunderstorms. The stormy conditions are expected to persist through the evening, increasing the potential for localized damage and travel disruptions.

As the week progresses, Tallahassee will experience fluctuating weather patterns. Tuesday and Wednesday will see sunny skies with temperatures peaking at 94°F. However, stormy conditions will return Thursday and Friday with a 35% to 40% chance of rain, and highs in the upper 80s. By Saturday, the storms should clear, giving way to partly cloudy skies and slightly cooler temperatures around 87°F.
