Tallahassee, FL – North Florida will kick off the workweek with warm temperatures and sunshine, but midweek storms could disrupt plans. Monday brings highs in the upper 60s with mostly sunny skies, while Tuesday climbs into the low 70s. By Wednesday, however, showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop, bringing a 90% chance of rain.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday will be mostly sunny with a high near 69°F and light east winds. Tuesday follows with a high near 73°F and partly sunny skies. The biggest shift arrives Wednesday, when showers and thunderstorms—some possibly strong—are expected in the morning and early afternoon.

Wednesday’s storms could cause travel delays and localized flooding, especially along I-10 and U.S. Highway 90. Drivers should remain alert for wet road conditions and reduced visibility. Rain chances decrease Wednesday night, followed by drier conditions for the remainder of the week.

Thursday and Friday will bring a return to spring-like weather, with highs near 74°F and plenty of sunshine. Overnight temperatures will hover in the mid-40s, providing cooler evenings. By Saturday, scattered showers return with a 50% chance of rain and highs in the low 70s.

Floridians should prepare for midweek rain by keeping umbrellas handy and checking road conditions before heading out. Follow local weather updates for the latest alerts.
