Tallahassee, FL – The Florida Panhandle will see its coldest weather so far this season Friday night into early Saturday, as clear skies and dry air send temperatures tumbling, according to the US National Weather Service Tallahassee FL.
Forecasters report overnight lows dropping into the 30s and low 40s across inland areas, with patchy frost possible in colder rural spots by Saturday morning. Friday daytime highs will reach the mid-60s, staying 5 to 10 degrees below normal for late October.
The region will remain cool and dry through Sunday morning, offering ideal weather for outdoor events, trick-or-treating, and fall festivals. By Sunday afternoon, temperatures will moderate into the 70s, ahead of the next chance of rain Sunday night into Monday as a cold front approaches.
The NWS cautions that severe to extreme drought conditions persist across much of North Florida and southern Georgia, and no meaningful rainfall is expected until early next week.
