Tampa, FL – Tampa Bay residents can expect a break from the persistent summer heat this weekend as cooler temperatures roll in, bringing some much-needed relief. The National Weather Service in Tampa Bay forecasts a drop in dew points, resulting in lower morning temperatures on Saturday. The majority of the region will experience temperatures in the low to mid-70s, with Brooksville likely seeing the coolest morning in the area.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a 70% chance of temperatures dipping below 70°F in Brooksville, while other areas such as Tampa, Sarasota, and Fort Myers are less likely to experience such cool conditions. Lakeland has a slight 10% chance of seeing temperatures drop below 70°F. The cooler weather is attributed to lower dew points, making for a more comfortable start to the day.

Looking ahead, the forecast for the Tampa Bay area remains consistent with daytime highs reaching the low 90s over the weekend. Saturday will see a high of 91°F, with similar conditions expected through Monday. As the week progresses, temperatures will gradually increase, with a chance of showers on Tuesday and highs reaching 93°F by Monday.
