Miami, FL – Morning commuters in South Florida should be cautious as dense fog has developed across the region, reducing visibility on major roadways, including I-75 and I-95. Some areas may experience visibility as low as a quarter-mile early Thursday morning.
According to the National Weather Service Miami, fog will begin lifting by mid-morning, giving way to warm and dry conditions. High temperatures will reach the upper 70s to mid-80s through the weekend, with mostly sunny skies. Overnight lows will remain mild, hovering in the low 70s.
Thursday and Friday will bring clear skies and highs around 77°F, with light east winds at 6-9 mph. By Saturday, temperatures will rise slightly to 78°F, with continued sunshine. No major weather disruptions are expected through early next week.
Drivers should allow extra time for travel and use low beams in foggy areas. Those near Naples, Immokalee, and Fort Lauderdale should remain especially cautious on the roads early in the morning.
