Florence, SC – Two men were arrested following a narcotics search that uncovered fentanyl, methamphetamine, and firearms at a Florence motel, according to the Florence County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO).
Narcotics investigators, assisted by the FCSO SWAT Team, executed a search warrant on November 4, 2025, at the Super 8 Motel located at 3783 West Palmetto Street. Deputies said the operation uncovered trafficking quantities of both fentanyl and methamphetamine, along with several weapons.
Phillip Bruce Rogers, 36, of Florence, was arrested at the scene and charged with trafficking in fentanyl, trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and distribution of fentanyl.
Ronald Keith Mabry Jr., 36, also of Florence, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Authorities said Rogers remains in custody at the Florence County Detention Center without bond. Mabry was released on November 6 after posting a $3,000 surety bond.
The Sheriff’s Office noted that the arrests were part of an ongoing effort to disrupt fentanyl distribution networks across Florence County. Further information is available through the FCSO booking website.
