Florence, SC – A Florence County woman is behind bars after deputies say she allegedly assaulted the same victim twice in less than a week, including one attack with a metal cane.
According to the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, investigators arrested Brandy Parrott Floyd, 40, of Olanta, on October 10, 2025, following separate violent incidents earlier in the month.
Investigators said the first assault occurred on October 5, 2025, when Floyd allegedly broke into a home on West Old Number 4 Highway near Olanta without permission and struck the victim with her fist, causing minor injuries.
Four days later, on October 9, 2025, deputies say Floyd returned to the same residence, threatened to kill the same victim, and allegedly beat them with a metal cane, resulting in serious injuries.
Floyd was arrested the following day and booked into the Florence County Detention Center, where she remains held without bond.
She faces multiple charges, including second-degree burglary, third-degree assault and battery, attempted murder, and petit larceny, according to investigators.
Authorities said the investigation remains active.
