Flagstaff, AZ – A shift in weather patterns could bring rain and possibly snow to parts of northern Arizona late next week, according to the National Weather Service in Flagstaff.
Current 8–14 day outlooks from the Climate Prediction Center show an increased probability of above-normal precipitation from November 12–18, along with cooler-than-average temperatures likely spreading into the region.
While warm, dry conditions are expected to persist through early next week, forecasters say a pattern change could introduce rain across central and northern Arizona, with snow possible in higher elevations such as the Mogollon Rim and the San Francisco Peaks.
The NWS advises residents and travelers to monitor forecasts as confidence grows in this developing system. Early indications suggest the first significant moisture event of mid-November could arrive late next week.
