Paducah, KY – February is starting on a warm note across Missouri, Illinois, and Kentucky, with weekend highs climbing into the mid-60s before rain chances return next week.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Paducah, Friday will be mostly cloudy after a foggy morning, with highs near 61°F. Saturday and Sunday will bring clearer skies and temperatures reaching 65°F, creating ideal conditions for outdoor activities. Light winds will keep the air comfortable, making for a mild start to the new month.

By Monday, temperatures will peak at 67°F under mostly sunny skies. However, a shift in the weather pattern will introduce rain chances late Tuesday evening, with clouds increasing throughout the day. Winds will pick up slightly, signaling a potential return to wetter conditions midweek.

Drivers should remain cautious Friday morning due to fog, particularly along major roadways like I-55 and I-57. Visibility could drop to a quarter-mile or less before conditions improve by mid-morning.

With a mild and dry weekend ahead, now is the time to enjoy the warm spell before February’s first round of showers arrives next week.
