According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, deputies executed a narcotics search warrant at 12:46 a.m. Tuesday at a residence located at 25012 Johnson’s Mill Road in Alpha, Iowa. During the search, investigators reported locating controlled substances, a firearm and various paraphernalia.
Deputies said Brian Michael Rohrick, 57, of Oelwein, was taken into custody at the scene. Rohrick was charged with multiple offenses, including dominion or control of a firearm/offensive weapon by a felon (second offense), a Class D felony, and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, also a Class D felony.
He was additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine (third or subsequent offense), a Class D felony, along with person ineligible to carry dangerous weapons, a serious misdemeanor, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be filed as evidence is processed.
Rohrick is currently being held in the Fayette County Jail.
